The Technology Fabric of Younite-AI

At Younite-AI, we’re evolving…constantly. Evolution is engrained in our DNA and is something we feel is necessary for us as we strive to be a technology leader in the combined fields of AI and XR.

Evolution is something we also feel occurs through execution. We don’t want to theorize evolution, be it a digital transformation journey of a client or the evolution of our own company. We want to keep executing and proving any theories as fast as we can so we learn, adapt, and ultimately evolve in positive steps grounded in real experiences and learnings.

Small and nimble beats bloated and verbose

Being relatively small has its advantages. Although we aim to grow our company in stature, the approach to our work will always be built around high-performing small teams. We aim to tackle the big boulders of challenges that require experienced individuals to move within a tight circle of collaborators to create foundational tech that makes the unimaginable real. Of course, an army of additional people may be needed to package up these solutions and get them out into the wild in the form of useful applications for everyone to use, but without those big tech rocks being overcome there’s nothing to package up.

With smaller teams working closely with client teams, a more personal connection and reliance is built up. With our teams, every small challenge that we overcome becomes a celebration of collectively moving forward and venturing into new realms. This becomes infectious and instills ownership of the success created, and the challenges to explore.

Actions speak louder than words

More specifically, words are louder when backed up with action. What we mean by that is our creative wheels, and enthusiasm to prove ideas and theories spark into life as we speak. Theorizing and mulling over challenges for months in rooms of multilayered teams, all trying to stamp their authority on a solution, often breeds uninformed results. Very buttoned-up sounding theories, yes. But if not proven out in reality, they’re often not much more than vapor. We’ve often seen extensive time and money spent on trying to mitigate risk and show more definite “derisked” pathways forward, only for the so-called solution to be stale by the time it's put into action, and fall flat on its expensive face in execution. We demand to know where we’re going by validating how we get there fast. That’s done by building, experiencing, and learning at the speed of thought.

Again, our smaller teams facilitate this rapid movement. We are a small team on a raft in a big ocean, but we can adapt the raft to move quickly, ride the waves, and never get bogged down like a cumbersome shipping tanker. Our individual team members all have their specializations they bring to the table to keep the raft afloat. But, their ability to work in unison with the other members of the team keeps the raft moving fast and quickly righted if it ever capsizes.

Why AI?

AI is everywhere right now, but our team has been working in this field for years with decades of collective experience.

We understand the difference between a clever solution that has the label of AI given to it by an overreaching creator and true AI solutions that deliver on the promise of AI. The reality is the AI revolution that is going on today is just a sign of the times, and eventually AI will become less visible by being a pervasive part of every piece of software and every application we will use. For now, AI and our expertise and experience with it is a great banner for us to wave as vigorously as we can while everyone is looking for people to help them navigate it. Currently, it's a noisy and frustrating landscape to navigate for a company like ours. But we have confidence that true AI practitioners will bubble up to the surface as those creating ChatGPT-created code and solutions will start to fall by the wayside as the limitations of their expertise become apparent.

Why XR?

For us, this is the future of consumption and interaction. Increasingly, physical screens will disappear as information is presented to us right in front of our eyes.

With XR taking hold, the ways we deliver and consume a lot of what exists today online will drastically change. 3D technology will be a major part of this transformation as the pivotal point where physical and digital closely converge, and often overlap. Yeah, we also feel like we aren’t going to be wearing Meta or Apple headsets out in public like many nay-sayers. But for us, it's not for personal face-saving reasons. We won’t be wearing current hardware headsets because they are not long for this world in the form we see today as the tech that drives them continues to evolve at lightning speed. The hardware we see coming out today is the sandbox of what is to come, and the place where new experiences will be defined.

We can see the evidence of where this is going by watching some of the tech giants and seeing how services and applications are already being adapted to be ready for this fundamental change. The inclusion of USDZ assets as ones that can be shared through text messages in the Apple ecosystem is a good indicator. For now, it will persist with known quantities of image and video formats we currently share ad nauseam. But we know 3D can replace any form of static imagery and video. After all, a static image is just a single frame of a scene or object caught in time. How many times have you wondered what the captured object looks like from another angle? With 3D scenes, there is no need to wonder.

With the convergence of physical and digital made possible with XR, we will have to rethink how we construct content and applications. A website will no longer be sections, pages, and templates. A site will be rooms, buildings, and spaces, all freely explorable and discoverable by your audience. In many ways, we may start reverting back to pre-internet behaviors in areas such as shopping, where all the benefits of physical shopping we couldn’t replicate in e-commerce are now back on the table to rise again in this new digital form.

Combined specialties create differentiation

The two areas we see as our strengths can stand out individually. They are both fresh, relatively new, and timely. However, a simple search will find you a sea of companies that promise AI solutions or creative shops touting the most impressive production levels of 3D. At Younite-AI, we feel we can go toe-to-toe with any of these companies in either field, thanks to our stable of world-class 3D practitioners and experienced AI leaders.

The differentiating factor with Younite-AI is focusing on where these two specialties converge. As key aspects of the solutions of the future, both are needed to work together to form the building blocks of solutions that will be ready for the future, and grow with it as technology evolves.

Practice what we preach

We believe this transformation for our clients, and Younite-AI, should realize the benefits of efficiency and automation without compromising the standard of our outputs, be they clean code, or meticulously crafted creative.

With everything we create, we’re constantly asking ourselves “How can we make this easier? How can we do it faster? How can we do it better?” The result is intelligent tools that allow us to as an organization move fast towards results. This not only benefits us, but our clients as well, with every challenge presented to us going through the same scrutiny to obtain the same benefit, speed with uncompromising quality.
